Dear Members and Friends of Business Women of Pocatello,
After thoughtful discussion and careful consideration, the Board of Directors has voted to dissolve the Business Women of Pocatello nonprofit corporation. This decision was made during a special board meeting called specifically for this purpose.
Although the organization is dissolving, we will finish out the remainder of the year exactly as planned. This includes:
- Awarding grants to members who qualify, following our established application and review process
- Presenting those grant awards at our final Mix & Mingle event to be held at an appreciation dinner November 13th free to members (more information to come)
- Completing all year‑end reporting and closing out our commitments with care and transparency
All remaining assets will be distributed to qualifying 501(c)(3) organizations in alignment with our mission of supporting women, leadership, and community development.
The organization will officially conclude its affairs no later than March 31, 2027, after required filings with the Idaho Secretary of State and the IRS are completed.
We want to express our deepest gratitude for your support, participation, and dedication throughout the years. Business Women of Pocatello has been a meaningful part of this community because of you. While this chapter is closing, the impact of your involvement continues forward through the women, businesses, and organizations we have supported.
